Dr. William C. Galvin, DDS

Dr. Galvin was born in the Presidential Suite of the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia (during World War II this suite was used as a maternity ward!) After the war, the Galvin family moved to Atlanta and Bill grew up in Decatur, Georgia. He currently lives with his wife, Sandy and two daughters in Duluth.
Dr. Galvin served as a Major in the US Army Dental Corps in Stuttgart, Germany (where he was able to travel extensively through Europe), and then was an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine at Emory Dental School for 13 years. He has been associated with DENTFIRST since 1979 and Dr. Dowd since 1976.
In his free time, Bill enjoys tennis, golf, fly-fishing, cooking and is an avid skier. Patients can visit Dr. Galvin at our DentFirst Norcross office.
